Live-action adaptation of Disney’s 1937 animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Check out all the major announcements and updates from D23 2024: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. In response to comments from Peter Dinklage, who claimed that the original film portrayed the dwarves in a negative light, Disney announced on January 25, 2022, that it would be taking a different approach to the characters, also consulting with members of the dwarf community. Many fans of the original, including Dylan Postl, noted that many of Dinklage’s comments were untrue. First, he said that the dwarves didn’t live in a cave.
